The lead promoter of M/s. Lotus CropScience - Mr. Yogesh Naik - is The University Toper during his Masters in Agriculture with Specialization in Horticulture in 1991 from Konkan Krishi Vidyapeeth, Dapoli, Dist Ratnagiri, Maharashtra - The University famous for its research on Alphonso Mangoes and Cashews.

After working as Horticulturist and Farm Manager for few years, he joined Pesticide Industry in September 1994. He worked in various capacities with Searle India Ltd (Marketing Services), Wockhardt Ltd (Now Biostadt - Product Management), Bayer India Ltd (Public Health Pesticides) and Gharda Chemicals Ltd (Technical Sales Domestic & Exports) till September 2007.

After quitting the job in 2007, he started trading cum export indenting of Agrochemicals and Intermediates under the ...name M/s. SiddhiVinayak Agrochemicals. After this successful indenting experience, considering his contacts in Indian AgChem Industry and Growth in Indian Agro Input Industry, he decided to launch his own brands in Indian AgChem Industry in 2010 and launched M/s. Lotus CropScience Private Limited with support from his better half Mrs. Yojana Naik who is also B.Sc. (Agriculture) with 15+ years of experience in Landscape Gardening and Corporate Housekeeping.

Company name Lotus - the National Flower of India - a place on which Goddess of Wealth - Lakshmi, resides. The logo is Golden Lotus indicating overall Prosperity of company as well as its satisfied customers.

Company is also promoting Laughing Buddha (with major crops around) - who is Company's mascot to sent the message across the Globe about Growth (Healthy Plant and Animal Growth by using our Energized Specialty Products as well as Spiritual, Mental, Physical, Financial Growth of Families using our products), Prosperity (of our internal as well as external customers and Lotus family members) which will ultimately lead to Happiness (Joy of Living satisfied Life with Eternal bliss).
