The Institute of Pesticide Formulation Technology (IPFT) was established in May, 1991 under the Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers, and Government of India with the help of United Nations Development Program (UNDP)/United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO). IPFT is an institution-building project of UNDP/UNIDO and Government of India to cater the needs of not only the Indian pesticide industry but also of the Asia Pacific Region.
