From the 90s of the 20th cent ...ury, Sinochem Shanghai has been a member of the council of glyphosate coordinating group of the China Chamber of Commerce of Metals Minerals & Chemicals Importers & Exporters. Besides, in the Argentina government's anti-dumping case in April 2002, Sinochem Shanghai was the only respondent trader in China and recovered, winning the valuable market resources for the development of Chinese glyphosate. Sinochem Shanghai is one of the Top 10 shareholders of Xin'an Chemical Industrial Co., Ltd., the largest glyphosate producer in China. The company and Jiangsu Anpon Electrochemical Co., Ltd. invested together to establish Huai??an Tianyi Chemical Co., Ltd. in 2007, thus opened up a new history canto for the business of PMIDA and glyphosate. The same year, Sinochem Shanghai invested cooperatively with Shenyang Academe of Chemistry Industry to establish Nantong Preparation Factory, now the plant holds one SC, two WP, one EW, two SL, one WDG production lines which have over one thousand tons throughput, and can customize all kinds of fractional package preparation and individualized package preparation according to the requirements of clients.
